I redeemed some of my reward points for a discount on my nest transaction. They said the discount would be applied at the next transaction. Guess what? It didn't, I guess I am not really surprised. I used WU all the time and the transactions go fine, but I figured when I would try to used reward points that it would just be a scam.

You approved it yesterday me sending money to myself but all of sudden it's a problem, every single time and I mean every time I have at least 2 problems picking up my money that results to me having to leave the place I went to pick it and call you u hate western union I

I am very disappointed with their service. I sent money to a family member in Latin America. Western Union took my payment and they deducted the money from my account but would not pay my receiver. The local WU store claimed that they didn’t have any money. It was only $200. I called WU but they said the money was sent to the “franchise” and there was nothing they could do. That money was sent to feed children. Their mother had to walk 3 km only to be told they had no money to pay out. They said come back tomorrow. They apparently don’t care how far that is to walk. Who knows if they will have money tomorrow. They don’t answer the phone.

Everytime i try to use my WU rewards points, it will give
me a message that I already have one available and that i will have to use it first. I try over and over to that.
it failed.

To many steps involved in redeeming points.

Both the website and the app it appears have been developed by amateurs, every time it changes one thing or the other on you, you fix that one thing and something else will be changed. pathetic wesbsite and app

It is a relatively easy and very convenient way to send money to family and friends overseas. I highly recommend WU as the best way to get the job done. On top of it all, it's a safe and secure transaction at a reasonable price in comparison to money wire transfers. Thank you Western Union. You're on top of your game.

For the most part transfers are made well. Don't understand the delay for receipt by the receiver. Not able to receive points redeemed.
